Do you have CRM and CLM know-how and proven experience of evaluating and redesigning workflows to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability? Is attention to detail part of your DNA? If so, we have an exciting new opportunity at SHL for a Commercial Assurance Specialist. In this role, you will hold accountability for the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all aspects of the deal lifecycle and will be pivotal in strengthening the deal compliance framework, streamlining processes, and reducing risk.

What you will be doing:
* Oversee, evaluate, identify improvements, and enhance the end-to-end contract management process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational policies, implementing more robust workflows.
* Direct the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) process, overseeing the creation and review of Statements of Work (SOWs), strengthening the deal compliance framework, and streamlining processes to reduce risk.
* Act as an exceptional liaison for deals, assisting sales teams with large deals that divert from standard contracting procedures.
* Work closely with sales, legal, and delivery teams to implement process improvements and maintain best practices for efficient contract handling, ensuring all documentation is clear, accurate, and reflective of customer agreements.
* Collaborate with sales, operations, pricing, and enablement teams to educate the commercial organization on deal compliance best practices.
* Standardize document templates and processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors, establishing and maintaining a centralized repository for contracts and deal-related documents.
* Leverage automation tools and technologies to streamline SOW, order form, and contract generation processes.
* Provide guidance and support during the negotiation process, ensuring alignment with internal policies and customer expectations.
What we are looking for from you:
Essential:
* Significant experience in contract lifecycle management, deal compliance, or similar, navigating complex deal structures and identifying compliance solutions.
* Deep understanding of B2B contracts, SOWs, order forms, compliance considerations, and governance.
* Experience in the analysis and redesign of workflows and familiarity with automation tools for contract and document generation.
* Exceptional focus on detail and accuracy, ensuring all deal-related documentation meets internal and external standards.
* Experience with CLM platforms (e.g., DocuSign CLM, Ironclad, Conga) and CRM systems (particularly Salesforce).
* Proficiency in the Microsoft toolkit.
Desirable:
* Relevant experience within a B2B SaaS or enterprise sales environment.
* Familiarity with subscription pricing models and contracting terms.
