IKEA Reading are looking to welcome a Customer Service Assistant.
A customer service assistant at IKEA is responsible for creating a positive shopping experience for customers.
WHAT WE OFFER
1. The Start Date of employment will be: 22nd of March 2025
2. Competitive hourly rate of £13.25 per hour.
3. 30 Hours working 5 x 6 hour shifts per week. For this role we require availability on a Monday and Friday dayshifts. Shifts will be between the hours of 10am to 21:30pm. You will receive every 4th weekend off.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
1. You prefer to take initiative, are adept at juggling several responsibilities at once, and value teamwork while also being able to complete assignments without direct supervision.
2. You have a strong customer first mindset, where you make the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do.
3. Experience in a fast paced customer service environment.
4. Computer literate and able to work with technology.
5. The confidence to maintain composure and patience when dealing with a variety of customers and complex complaints.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
1. You will use your knowledge, resilience and problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints, dealing positively and quickly with any issues raised.
2. You ensure accurate handling of all returned products, highlighting and escalating any product issues immediately.
3. Supporting customers experiencing difficulties in product assembly and where needed be able to order and exchange spare parts.
4. Ensuring our customers have a great checkout experience.
