Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Care Certificate.
* Able to perform phlebotomy duties & ECG recordings.
* Experience working in a pre-assessment environment is an advantage.
* Willing to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
* Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
* Proficient in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
* Previous experience in a Healthcare Assistant role.
* Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
Duties of this role include:
* Working as an integral part of the nursing and multidisciplinary team, providing high standards of patient-centred care, meeting the needs of patients, consultants, and colleagues. Deliver care within the multi-disciplinary team, maintaining and enhancing customer service and satisfaction under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner.
* Delivering high standards of care in accordance with CHG policies and procedures.
* Conducting oneself professionally within the HCA standard framework, understanding standards in accordance with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) Codes of professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Demonstrating competence as a Healthcare Assistant within your working areas.
