We care for thousands of NHS and private patients a year in our specialist eye clinics across the country. We have significant growth plans over the next few years as we look to establish a national footprint and open many new sites across the UK.
We are thrilled to say that following an independently conducted survey of Newmedica colleagues, we have been certified as a Great Place to Work. This is a global benchmark that recognises employers who create an outstanding employee experience.
Role overview
We’re looking for a Private Service Lead to join our Lincolnshire site. This role will be 40 hours over 5 days per week, including some weekend and evening working for events. Reporting into the Business Development Manager, the Private Service Lead will be a highly organised, passionate individual with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. The role will actively contribute towards the continued growth of the clinic as a leading healthcare provider.
The Private Service Lead will oversee the day-to-day operations of our private services and ensure our patients receive the highest standard of personalised care from the moment they first contact us. As the Private Service Lead, you will be at the heart of our private patient services, managing all administrative processes, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and helping to shape an outstanding patient journey. This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will lead and motivate a small team, oversee patient bookings and payments, and liaise with internal teams to support business growth.
You will work closely with our Business Development Manager, Engagement Lead, and the Central Marketing Team to maximise the potential of the Private Service. You’ll also be the central point of contact for patients, clinic staff, and referrers, ensuring all queries and referrals are dealt with promptly and within KPIs.
The thought of eye surgery can be a daunting prospect for patients to deal with, so our Private Services Lead will need to be able to put patients at ease. You’ll also need to be accurate and detail orientated – ensuring Private Medical Insurance processes are followed and premium lenses are ordered for your patients.
