2. Develop localised EMEA strategies and appropriate marketing programs

Key Functions
6. Lead and develop the Molecular Biology and Sample Preparation team of Regional Market Developers to deliver on growth and revenue objectives
7. Establish and drive a culture of partnership, teamwork, and positivity to deliver rapid wins in a dynamic market
8. Develop efficiencies and effectiveness across the team and with the wider group of contacts and partners
9. Mentor and develop team members to achieve their full potential and aid them in progressing in their careers at Thermo Fisher
10. Use detailed analysis and regular reporting of regional business performance to determine appropriate actions
11. Manage regular marketing performance reporting to regional and global partners, including dashboards, MBRs, QBRs, QMRs, etc.
12. Set a regional strategy with the RMDs to define, plan, and implement product launches, price actions, upgrades, and obsolescence of existing products
13. Advocate for customer-focused marketing activities, working across matrix structures, and enabling cross-BU and cross-division marketing campaigns and activities
14. Develop and implement customer and market research programs
15. Maintain knowledge of trends and competitive activity relevant to the product lines and markets served/targeted
16. Oversee OpEx forecasting and hold overall responsibility for the budget
17. Work closely with commercial teams and platforms teams to deliver regional revenue targets. Partner with commercial leaders to align marketing/sales strategies
18. Establish revenue goals for new products in the region by considering the local market conditions
Requirements
19. Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Life Sciences, or equivalent experience.
20. Proven track record in marketing roles, preferably in the life sciences industry, with at least 5 years of experience.
21. Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
22. Excellent project management, organization, and prioritization skills.
23. Ability to work at a fast pace and effectively prioritize tasks to manage a high workload.
24. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
25. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
26. Experience in people leadership will be considered advantageous.
