This is a full-time, temporary role starting after Easter until the end of the academic year in July 2025.
As a Food Technology Teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to nurture student creativity, teach essential culinary skills, and promote healthy eating habits in a vibrant and supportive environment. You’ll deliver engaging lessons, help students build practical skills, and prepare them for future careers in the food industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering engaging and informative Food Technology lessons across Key Stage 3 & 4
* Planning and preparing lessons that align with the curriculum and inspire students
* Creating a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and practical skills
* Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
* Contributing to extracurricular activities related to food and cooking, if desired

* A qualified Food Technology teacher with experience delivering engaging lessons
* Passionate about food, sustainability, and encouraging students to think critically about the world of food
* Able to create a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
