The Role- We are working alongside our well-established client to recruit a full time Support worker based in Belfast. The 59-bed service provides temporary and supported accommodation for single men experiencing homelessness.
Location: Belfast
Pay Rate: £12.59-£13.42 (Qualification Dependent)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week across a Mon-Sun Rota 9am-9:30pm shifts 3x per week
The Person - We are looking for a candidate who has a minimum of six months relevant paid experience of supporting people with complex and multiple needs within a residential or community setting and is committed to promoting independence by providing quality and compassionate support and care.
NVQ 3/QCF Level 3/equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care (or other relevant qualification). Or educated to degree level.
Experience of completing support plans and risk assessments and putting plans in place to support those needs.
A Typical day at work will include the following:
1. Provide support and advice to residents
2. Undertake service user risk and needs assessments
3. Develop and review Support Plans
4. Liaise with external agencies where appropriate
5. Deliver a client-centred outcomes-focused case management
6. Assist in the collection of service charges
