Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to support the Rheumatology Department as a Medical Secretary fixed term for a period of 12 months to cover Maternity Leave. This is a challenging role supporting a busy clinical team. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, enjoys a challenge and is used to working in a busy environment.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will require excellent organisational and communication skills, be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team, using their own initiative and being adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of the service. The individual must also have the ability to work well under pressure, have excellent prioritisation, organisational and interpersonal skills. Previous experience of working within a Healthcare environment and experience of audio typing is desirable.
