Position Insights & Objectives
As a member of the Engineering team, the purpose of this role is to perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on production equipment. Performing various manual or mechanical functions by operating, adjusting, and repairing high speed production equipment to meet customer specifications.
Develop safe working practices for routine and non-routine tasks
Develop and control of the Apriso system - completing assigned work orders in the agreed time frames
Identify and rectify process performance issues
Daily routine checks for plant and production equipment
Continuous monitoring of equipment condition
Carry out routine and planned overhauls
Carry out planned and ad hoc maintenance along with Height/diameter changes
Carry out mechanical improvements in the process
Support trials and new equipment installation and commissioning
Spare parts monitoring
Carry out unit spares rebuild as required
Training and support of personnel
Shift support/cover when required
Maintain housekeeping
Turning, milling and grinding work when required
FLT driving when required.

Education & Location
Qualifications
Time served Apprenticeship in an Engineering/Mechanical discipline or equivalent experience
HND/HNC or equivalent is desirable.
Electrical qualification an advantage
FLT License or willing to train
Location – Rugby, Warwickshire
