Organisation Worcestershire Cricket Foundation Salary £45,000-£50,000 Location Worcester Contract type Permanent (Full time) Closing date 16 August 2024 Job Description The Executive Director is responsible for leading and inspiring the team of committed staff to deliver against the WCF strategy in line with the ECB’s inspiring generations strategy.
The post holder will also be the main contact between WCF and all key delivery stakeholders including the ECB, Worcestershire County Cricket Club, Chance to Shine, Lords Taverners, and the board of trustees.
Role Description & Person Specification
Objectives:
1.To deliver against the WCF strategic plan, monitoring and reporting accordingly.
2.Setting realistic and achievable budgets, and monitoring and controlling spend in working closely with the WCF Finance Trustee.
3.Lead all activity undertaken by WCF providing the key link between the board of trustees, the ECB and other delivery partners.
4.Overall responsibility for the day-to-day activities of WCF and the line management, supervision and professional development of Senior Leadership and the wider team.
5.Monitoring and evaluating all WCF activity, taking and recommending improvement actions as appropriate.
6.An oversight of all WCF policies, ensuring that they are reviewed annually and updated where necessary.
7.Providing support to the board and its committees and attending all board and board committees to work with the board on all matters of the business including governance, finance and risk.
8.Ensure that support is provided to improve facilities across the County and that grants are delivered against the WCF facilities strategy.

Qualifications:
The Job Holder will have:
•Eligibility to work in the UK.
•A full clean current driving licence, and access to own transport.
•An up-to-date ECB DBS check. This will be arranged as part of the recruitment process if you do not possess one already.
Hours:
35 hours per week based on 9.00am to 5.00pm weekdays with evening and weekend working.
Due to the nature of the work included in the role, the post holder will carry out his/her duties at such times/days that are most effective to perform the tasks required. The policies of the Foundation reflect a 52 week, 7 day operation for all cricket provision.
Holidays:
25 days per annum plus statutory Bank Holidays
