About the role:
I’m proud to be recruiting for an established business on the Norfolk / Suffolk border who are currently seeking a skilled Technician to join their team. The role involves providing technical support to ensure that all planned and unplanned work is conducted effectively, efficiently, and to company and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform tool changing and fault finding across all production processes.
Service and prepare tooling, printing plates, inks, and more for tool changes.
Conduct quality checks and basic servicing/cleaning of machinery.
Identify and resolve machinery technical issues promptly.
Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy work space.
Complete necessary reporting and administration tasks.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards, legislation, and Health & Safety policies.Requirements for the role
Technical qualification in a relevant field.
Clear and proven competence of recent work in a technical role in an engineering environment, E.G. Motor Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, Machinist, Service Engineer or similar.
Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to fault finding.
Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude toward improvement.
