As our Occupational Health and Wellbeing Screening Advisor, you will be part of a dedicated team offering a comprehensive screening service to all staff and officers, giving advice, guidance, and support to ensure our force can work to the best of its abilities.
Salary: £35,526 - £42,897
The day to day:
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. Here’s just some of the things you will be doing:
1. Undertaking police officer recruit medicals and talking to police staff candidates about their pre-employment medical health questionnaires.
2. Conducting our firearms officers’ annual medicals.
3. Carrying out risk assessments for officers when they are exposed to bodily fluids.
4. Supporting the force’s mental health and wellbeing campaigns.
What you’ll need:
1. To be a registered nurse with experience of venepuncture, audiometry, and spirometry.
2. Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in the accuracy of your work and attention to detail.
3. To be a strong communicator, able to create good working relationships with a diverse range of people.
