Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Social Care Worker to provide support to individuals with varying needs in our care setting. You will work closely with a diverse group of individuals, supporting them in their daily activities, personal care, and well-being, ensuring that they lead a meaningful life within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist individuals with personal care and daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
2. Provide emotional support, guidance, and companionship to individuals.
3. Help with medication administration and health monitoring.
4. Work with a team of professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.
5. Support individuals in engaging with community activities and fostering social inclusion.
6. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the care of service users.
7. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance professional growth.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in social care or related fields is preferred but not essential.
2. A caring and empathetic nature with a genuine passion for helping others.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
6. A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
2. First Aid or Medication administration certification (desirable but not essential).
