About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Fibre Delivery (Midlands) to lead and inspire a high-performing team responsible for the successful delivery of our ambitious fibre network expansion plans across the Midlands region. You will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while fostering strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Lead & Develop High-Performing Teams: o Motivate, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. o Drive continuous improvement in team performance and individual development. Project Delivery Excellence: o Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. o Ensure adherence to strict safety protocols, quality standards, and contractual obligations. o Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and challenges. Client Relationship Management: o Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key clients and stakeholders. o Proactively communicate project progress, address client concerns, and exceed expectations. Commercial Success: o Drive revenue growth and profitability across all projects. o Negotiate contracts effectively and manage project budgets effectively. o Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining project quality. Operational Excellence: o Develop and implement robust processes and systems to improve project efficiency and effectiveness. o Drive continuous improvement in operational performance through data analysis and insights. Requirements Skills & Experience Proven Leadership: 5 years of successful project management experience within the telecommunications industry, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of fibre optic network architecture and construction methodologies, including XGS-PON technology. Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial awareness, with a proven ability to negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and drive profitability. Client Focus: Excellent client relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong partnerships. Results-Oriented: A highly motivated and results-driven individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
