Job Title: Family Hub Coach (G7)

Location: Cannock Family Hub, WS11 5BU (Site-based and community visits)
Contract Type: Temporary (06/01/2025 - 31/03/2025), with a possibility of extension
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Essential Requirements:
Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle (community visits essential).
Point of contact and professional communication skills.
Job Purpose:
To provide financial wellbeing support for adults within Staffordshire communities, focusing on vulnerable individuals requiring assistance managing finances.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide emergency drop-in financial support to vulnerable adults.
Use safeguarding experience to identify and address concerns when working with vulnerable individuals.
Deliver face-to-face workshops in family hubs and local community settings on budgeting and financial wellbeing.
Proactively identify those in need and assist them in accessing financial entitlements and available resources.
Develop, map, and maintain a local and national support database for financial assistance.
Keep accurate, up-to-date records to evidence interventions, outcomes, and impact.
Collaborate with partners to promote available support services and increase resident engagement.
Demonstrate excellent planning and organizational skills to manage workload effectively.
Make referrals to additional support services based on identified needs.
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience supporting vulnerable individuals, with a strong focus on safeguarding.
Knowledge of financial wellbeing and the ability to deliver budgeting workshops.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage residents and provide compassionate support.
Excellent organizational and planning skills to manage time effectively.
Proficiency in maintaining accurate and detailed records.
Confident communicator and professional demeanor when acting as a point of contact.
Pay Rate: £15.08 - £18.61 per hour

Additional Information:
This role does not involve working with children but focuses exclusively on adult financial support. Applicants must be able to commit to onsite working and community visits. Hybrid/remote options are not available.
