Role Responsibility We are delighted to confirm a vacancy within our Pensions Technical and Training Team, KR11 ‘Pensions Technical Compliance and Training Consultant’, working for Kent Pension Fund at Kent County Council. Whilst the role is advertised as permanent, full-time (37 hours a week), we also welcome applications from part-time applicants. The primary office location for this role is Maidstone, Kent and the successful candidate will undertake hybrid working (both home and office working, according to business needs). The post holder will join our large and successful Pensions & Treasury Service, within our Pensions Section. You will work alongside our existing Pensions Technical Compliance and Training Consultants whereby collaborative working at Invicta House (Maidstone) will be required from time to time (roughly twice a month or slightly more due to training and planning meetings). You will have extensive knowledge of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) regulations and the regulatory framework. This role involves interpreting complex pension legislation and policy to support Kent Pension Fund. You will have knowledge of a pensions administration software system such as Altair or similar.
