The Role:
We are looking for an Assistant Planner to join our team. The role involves supporting senior planners with planning applications, site appraisals, and liaising with clients and local authorities. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of planning experience, preferably within a local authority.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in preparing and submitting planning applications.
* Conduct site appraisals and planning research.
* Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
* Support with the preparation of planning reports and documents.
Requirements:
* A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, Geography, or a related field.
* At least one year of planning experience, ideally with a local authority.
* Good understanding of the UK planning system.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
