Area Sales Manager – World Leading Labelling Systems Manufacturer - South -West
Area Sales Manager required to join a world leading manufacturer of bespoke label application systems.
In this role you will cover the South-West of the UK, working with a wide customer base from sole-traders to blue-chip companies across pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries.
This role has come available due to an impending retirement, therefore the role will offer a good mix of business development opportunities as well as accounts you can inherit.
The Package:
Salary - £45,000-£50,000
Monthly paid OTE (1% based on a £1m target in first year)
Annual bonus
Company car – Golf GTE Hybrid
The Role:
* Overseeing all sales activities within the designated territory from initial customer enquiry through the quotation phase and up to the final point of sale.
* Achieve predetermined sales targets for the territory.
* Prepare a sales strategy to meet defined targets.
* Maximise profitability from sales achieved.
* Provide an accurate and reliable interpretation of the customer’s requirements to ensure supplied goods are fit for purpose.
* Conduct customer site surveys.
* Attend exhibitions.
* Possess a detailed working knowledge of the company’s entire product portfolio.
* Provide monthly reports detailing the area's performance.
Requirements:
* Must have a proven track record selling end of line machinery e.g. packaging machinery, labelling machinery etc.
* Must have experience working in external sales.
* Technical experience would be highly beneficial.
* A current full UK driving license is an essential requirement
