About Us
We’re the world’s largest rock school, and every week, thousands of primary school pupils across the UK experience the joy of playing in a band through our in-school music lessons. We’re passionate about transforming children’s lives through music. Developing children’s confidence and amplifying their self-belief is at the heart of everything we do.
About the Role
This is not your average sales role. As a School Champion, you’ll be initiating and developing partnerships with Primary Schools across the UK to facilitate our lessons, with the common goal of creating life-changing experiences for children.
You’ll spend a lot of time on the phone with decision makers in schools to educate them on the benefits of our lessons, but it’s about developing long-term partnerships, as opposed to a hard and fast ‘quick sale’ environment you might find in other sales roles.
The Role
* Entry level sales role with full training.
* Develop partnerships with schools through educating school decision makers (headteachers, music leads, etc.) on the benefits of our lessons, ultimately enabling our music teachers to provide lessons to the parents and children within those schools.
* Generate leads and nurture schools through the sales process.
* Use our systems and database to research new partner schools.
* Be accountable for your sales campaigns and own performance.
* Communicate regularly with the field sales team and schedule their time for promotional activity.
Skills and Experience
* No previous sales experience needed – you just need to be self-assured and willing to learn. Training is provided.
* Confident calling potential new customers on the phone and building completely new relationships.
* Team player that always demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic approach to work.
* Approachable and personable with a deep sense of integrity.
* Passionate about music and its benefits.
* Highly organised and target driven.
