Job Role:
1. Service and repair forklift trucks, including full refurbishments
2. Strip and rebuild components as part of refurbishing processes
3. Competently use power tools and hand tools
4. Collaborate with your team to meet production deadlines and targets
5. Complete documentation for PDI and specification requirements
6. Liaise with the parts department to order necessary replacement parts
7. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
8. Load forklifts for collection and delivery
9. Ensure high-quality standards and follow all company procedures
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Previous experience as a mechanical fitter/engineer or a similar role is preferred
2. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
3. Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of assembly processes
4. Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining safety standards
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
