To ensure the trust meets national minimum standards of Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) surveillance as outlined in the NHS England Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) surveillance: Minimum standards. Monitoring & Managing the HCC surveillance database ensuring it is up to date. Co ordinate patients abdominal ultrasound scans and blood tests and ensuring results are evaluated by a clinical nurse specialist. Liaise with different departments within the trust and external to the trust to ensure patient care is met. To help reduce patient cancellations and non-attendances for tests and clinic appointments influencing rapid surveillance pathway To undertake a range of administrative duties which facilitate and support coordination of the surveillance programme including assisting in arrangement of appointments, tests. To escalate issues with the surveillance programme in a timely fashion To actively engage in service improvement to maximise patient experience and outcomes. To participate in local and national audits
