Role: Clinical Service Home Manager
Salary: £48,336 per annum

We are recruiting for a proven Home Manager to lead a 31-bed home with state-of-the-art facilities, delivering specialist care and nursing services for adults with physical disabilities.
This role involves working closely with the local community, GPs, and healthcare professionals to provide a high-quality care environment that enables residents to lead fulfilling lives. Our approach places the individual at the centre of all we do, promoting wellness, happiness, and kindness.
The home is based in Radyr and offers en-suite rooms with ceiling hoists, extensive gardens, in-house physiotherapy, engaging activities, and transport for outings.
Role Objectives
* Provide authentic leadership and inspiration to a dedicated team, ensuring high standards of care.
* Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, maintaining 24-hour accountability.
* Effectively manage resources, including financial performance, while maintaining high occupancy levels.
* Promote independence, choice, and well-being for residents.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements, including CIW regulations and NMC guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Culture
* Serve as a role model, demonstrating approachability, consistency, and leadership.
* Establish and maintain clear care standards aligned with the vision of delivering exceptional care.
* Oversee the selection and onboarding of employees to build a committed and skilled team.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement, using clinical governance frameworks.
General Management
* Oversee budgets and meet Key Performance Indicators.
* Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations, including health and safety requirements.
* Support residents in managing their finances responsibly, maintaining accurate records.
* Promote meaningful activities as a core part of the service, engaging the entire team.
Essential Requirements
* Qualified Nurse with a valid PIN
* Previous experience as a Registered Manager under CIW
* Strong leadership skills with a compassionate and caring approach
* Experience managing a service of similar size and client group
