Bristol Secondary Youth Support Worker
Are you passionate about working with young people on their education and personal development? Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a Secondary Youth Support Worker to work closely with Class Teachers and students to provide vital support within the classroom.
As a Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students' development and build strong connections within the school community. We are looking for Support Workers for secondary schools across Central, South and Surrounding areas of Bristol.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting students aged 11-16, both 1:1 and in small groups in academic and personal development.
2. Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and time management.
3. Creating a safe environment that promotes student engagement and builds confidence.
4. Support the teacher in assessing and applying individual strategies for students to monitor their progress.

2. Knowledgeable in Core Subjects: Confidence in English, Maths, and Science (GCSE grades A*-C).

5. Motivational: Able to empower students to reach their full potential with passion, a positive attitude and patience.
