Are you a passionate and experienced clinician ready to lead and inspire continuous and positive change in healthcare quality?
Seeking a Lead for our established Quality Always team, who will continue to lead the Assessment and Accreditation scheme as DCHS's central assurance tool; to champion high standards of care across DCHS and work imaginatively in the evolving integration of health and social care.
Main duties of the job
The clinical lead will be responsible for:
1. Maintaining overall responsibility to implement the Clinical Assessment and Accreditation scheme that provides robust and rigorous assessment processes throughout all clinical teams and services in order to ensure quality, safe care outcomes for patients.
2. Utilising their specialist knowledge of the local assessment and accreditation process to develop the organisational quality assurance process so that it is consistently aligned to both operational local and national developments.
3. Using their experience and judgement in the analysis, collation, and interpretation of clinical information/data.
4. Completing comprehensive reports which inform operational and strategic decisions.
5. Require highly developed interpersonal and influencing skills to ensure continuous improvement in the assessment and accreditation of quality standards in care settings within DCHS.
6. Support and advise on service improvements required to sustain and develop local assessment and accreditation processes.
7. Develop and support quality improvements and safe patient care based on evidence-based practice.
8. Use a collaborative approach whilst maintaining motivation with key stakeholders and a wider range of Trust employees where introducing change may be challenging.
9. Adapt approaches and make amendments when faced with providing scheduled and unplanned information requests/reports and assessment and accreditation activity.

Education Qualifications Training and Experience and Knowledge Required and Skills and Attributes
Essential criteria
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience Professional Qualification in health care nursing AHP Teaching qualification PCGE/ENB Masters level study or equivalent experience Experience/qualification in QI assurance.
* Substantial experience in a senior clinical role or post Knowledge of the principles of clinical and restorative supervision and or experience of clinical supervision. Evidence of implementing clinical developments. Evidence of changing clinical practice standards for excellence Evidence of the understanding and implementation of assessment processes to develop and improve clinical care Recent evidence demonstrating resolution.
Desirable criteria
* Experience and Knowledge Required Trained clinical supervisor and mentor/coach Experience of working to influence local regional and national accreditation programs.
