As an Environmental on our Industrial Placement (12-month placement), you'll be at the heart of making things happen. In this role, you'll lead projects, digitalise systems, and play a key part in the environmental side of our business. You'll be free to work independently, with the trust and responsibility to see your projects through from start to finish.
This role will involve working onsite five days a week, with opportunities to visit other sites as needed. You'll be responsible for eliminating manual processes and helping to modernise the way we work. You won't be micromanaged, so this is a perfect fit for someone confident in their abilities, comfortable handling stakeholders and driven to make an impact.
We're looking for someone independent and proactive. You'll need the courage to drive change within the business and communicate effectively with key stakeholders. Unity and trust are essential in this role. You'll need to take the lead on projects and work as part of a close-knit team that values collaboration and transparency.
What You'll Do:
1. Lead and deliver projects, driving them from concept to completion.
2. Digitalise systems and help the business move away from manual processes.
3. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring unity within the team.
4. Work onsite at St Athan (Wales) five days a week, potentially travelling to other units as needed.
5. Be part of a team that values trust and independence, taking ownership of your responsibilities.
