HQ/2411/008 Education Adviser (Post Primary with some responsibility for Primary) CCMS (The Council for Catholic Maintained Schools) Lisburn Salary: NJC 40-43 £48,474 £51,515 (under review) Term:Permanent (secondment of at least two years duration may be considered) Closing date: Friday 22nd November at 17:00 Education Adviser(Post Primary with some responsibility for Primary) CCMS is seeking to appoint an Education Adviser who will work within the Education Directorate as part of a multi-disciplinary team with responsibility for the raising standards agenda and will work on the development and implementation of effective area planning. The post holder will advise on a range of professional educational issues in the post primary sector and be required to lead and develop policy area(s) across the primary and early years phase. Essential Criteria Applicants must: Be a qualified teacher with a minimum 7 years post qualification experience Possess a minimum of 4 years experience in the last 6 in a significant leadership role within a post primary school or comparable education setting. Provide evidence of collaborative working in a range of different settings or with other education providers Provide evidence of having led an area of policy Demonstrate evidence of having accessed relevant continuous professional development Provide evidence of experience working within an Area Learning Community Provide evidence of experience of providing for the Entitlement Framework Applicants must have access to a form of transport and be required to work flexibly to successfully meet the requirement of the job. Secondment may be considered where prior approval from the Board of Governors or employing organisation has been given.
