Job Title: Mobile Plant Fitter Location: Hemel Hempstead Job Type: Permanent Overview: Unify are delighted to be recruiting for a PDI / Plant Fitter to be workshop based in Hemel Hempstead. You will be joining a leading provider of Plant Hire, Transport and Haulage service throughout the UK who are currently undergoing remarkable growth. As a workshop Plant Fitter, you will be tasked with maintaining and rectify faults on construction plant equipment, including diagnosing faults, PDI’s and servicing. Working Pattern will be Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm What do I need? Prior experience working on Plant Machinery Qualification in Heavy vehicle / Plant Maintenance and repair (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent) Strong mechanical knowledge Effective planning and organization skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy Responsibilities: Fault Finding / Diagnostics Routine maintenance of heavy plant machinery Carry out maintenance on a variety of plant equipment Safety inspections to carry out pre delivery inspections To record information accurately
