Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated business support administrator to join the Workforce and Organisational Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to have a diverse role within the Workforce and OD team. You will provide a comprehensive and effective administration service that supports the delivery of the Job Evaluation process and provides support for workforce planning and projects within ABUHB.
Main Duties of the Job
The role will have responsibility for maintaining the Computer Aided Job Evaluation system (CAJE) and all Job Evaluation and supporting workforce planning projects, including setting up relevant workforce databases and spreadsheets and analysis of data. The role will also require you to analyze workforce information and other data, so this position would suit somebody with good analytical skills. You will be required to work on your initiative to provide day-to-day professional advice and support to managers and staff. We require an individual who has experience managing staff or IT/data systems and information, preferably with experience working in an NHS environment.
The successful post holder should have proven communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to use tact and persuasion, and be able to build strong working relationships, communicating clearly and regularly with clinical and non-clinical staff.
Agile/hybrid working is supported in the role with attendance at the work base when required.

Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities
* To work closely with Senior Managers, Staff-Side colleagues, and HB employees. The primary focus will be supporting Job Evaluation as well as holding a key role in supporting corporate and workforce projects in relation to Workforce Planning throughout the Health Board.
* Maintain the Computer Aided Job Evaluation system (CAJE) and all Job Evaluation, Workforce Planning, and relevant workforce databases and spreadsheets - adjusting formulae as needed to ensure accuracy of reports.
* Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring full engagement and partnership working with staff side representatives.
* As a key member of the team, the post holder works on their initiative to provide day-to-day professional advice and support to managers and staff.
