This post will be cross site across Colchester and Ipswich Hospitals.
This post is for 12 months. Internal applicants currently employed by ESNEFT will be offered on a secondment basis only.
Main duties of the job
You will lead the strategic development and delivery of our Oncology ACP service, ensuring it aligns with national and local standards. You will manage a team of advanced clinical practitioners, managing the progression of complex clinical projects while also driving forward your own initiatives. A key part of your role will be to foster collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring that transformational improvements are effectively implemented. You will be directly involved in leading quality improvement projects, mentoring staff, and delivering innovative care solutions that prioritise patient safety, experience, and outcomes.

* Substantial autonomous practice working as an advanced clinical practitioner in a multi professional practice setting as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Proven experience of working in a management/leadership role.
* Experience of managing, leading and motivating a team.
* Leading service changes to improve performance.
* Leading projects.
* Identifying and interpreting national policy and implementing required changes.
* Business case development and annual planning, longer term planning.
Qualifications
Essential
* MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or recognised equivalent by HEE Centre for Advancing Practice.
* Educated to masters level or equivalent experience.
* Management/leadership qualification or equivalent experience at post graduate level.
* Evidence of continued professional development.
* Further relevant training.
* Non-medical prescribing course.
Desirable
* Project Management Qualification.
