Job Title: AV Engineer (Marine)
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 PLUS OT: £30K - £45K

The Company:

The Role:
As an AV Engineer, you will be responsible for installing IT, network, AV, and security systems on luxury superyachts across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assembling AV racks both on and off site.
2. Performing 1st and 2nd fix installations of AV/IT hardware, access control, and CCTV systems.
3. Basic commissioning of networks, security systems, lighting controls, and audio DSP systems.
4. Maintaining and updating project documentation.
5. Reading and interpreting schematic drawings.
6. Collaborating with internal teams and subcontractors when necessary.
7. Assisting with occasional residential AV projects.
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of AV experience in the marine or residential AV sector.
Valid passport with a willingness to travel internationally on short notice.
Preferred Skills:
* Full UK driving licence.
* Knowledge of control systems and DSPs such as Crestron, Lutron, QSC, and BSS.
* Network configuration experience.
Package Includes:
1. Salary: £25K-£35K
2. 1.5X overtime rates, typically adding 20-30% to annual salary.
3. Full coverage of travel expenses and overnight allowance for extended stays.
4. 23 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
5. Statutory pension.
