Staff are also trained on how to look after people living with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities and complex behaviours. Mental Health Diagnoses and Autism. We provide support to people with: Complex Behaviours Learning Disabilities Enduring Mental Health Support Needs Acquired Brain Injury Physical Disabilities Autism Asperger’s syndrome Substance misuse Profound Multiple Learning disabilities We provide this support in a variety of community settings across the UK: Residential Care Supported Living apartments Supported Living shared houses THE ROLE We are looking for a Part Time - Permanent W aking N ight S upport W orker to join the team at Beggar’s Roost. The role is rewarding as you will have the privilege to support such wonderful people live their lives with choice and dignity, supporting them to achieve their life goals and promoting independence along the way. No two days are the same This role include support with day-to-day tasks in the home and in the community - it may be supporting our residents going out in the morning and taking them to an activity in the afternoon. Assisting them to get ready in the morning, helping with shopping, cooking, or cleaning. This is a great opportunity to build strong and positive relationships with brilliant adults, professionals, their families and help each of them to find further independence and confidence throughout adulthood life. You will find yourself getting stuck into fun, long walks, outdoor educational trips, and an interactive and practical hands-on activity.
