As we continue our ambitious growth, we're seeking a driven and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Southall site's engineering function. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the maintenance, repair, and servicing of our critical plant, building, and equipment. You'll lead a team, drive efficiency, and ensure the smooth operation of our busy production environment. Summary of Role: Leading and managing the Engineering Department to ensure effective maintenance, repair, and servicing of all plant, building, and equipment. You'll equip our teams with the skills and knowledge to drive continuous improvement through coaching and the implementation of proven methodologies Develop and promote a safety-first culture, ensuring everyone goes home safe every day. You'll be part business improvement programs that decreases energy consumption and deliver significant year-on-year carbon footprint reductions.You'll contribute to the development of new ideas and support the delivery of our site's capital plan Implementing use of MaintainX - A cloud-based computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) for web (desktop) and mobile users. It helps organisations centralise maintenance data, communication, and workflows. We're looking for someone with: A bachelor’s degree in engineering or substantial equivalent experience in a factory production environment. Demonstrable success as a highly skilled engineer with a passion for optimisation. Strong IT literacy and the ability to leverage data for decision-making. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to connect and influence at all levels. A solid understanding and practical application of Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies. Leadership experience in managing and motivating teams. A proactive, energetic, and enthusiastic approach with a track record of driving change.
