We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our client in Runcorn. The ideal candidate will assist in managing our company's financial records and transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
This is a full-time permanent position based in Runcorn. Salary is £26,000 per annum. Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, office based. Immediate start date available.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger
* Input all supplier invoices, credits, and debit notes
* Match, code, and post invoices
* Create and maintain supplier accounts
* Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations
* Reconcile company credit cards
* Process employee expenses
* Daily management of the accounts payable inbox
* Sales ledger cash posting
* Keep files for all purchase and sales ledger up to date
* Assist in month-end processes including preparation of journals
* Utilise accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero
Skills
* Proficiency in accounting software like Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero
* Experience in accounts payable and financial services
* Strong data entry skills
