What you’ll be doing
Reporting directly to the Customer CoE Lead, you'll:
* Use internal and external data sources to create actionable insights that support commercial, customer, and marketing strategies.
* Lead the provision of market, competitor, and brand insights from multiple sources.
* Simplify complex data to help the business make informed decisions.
* Explore market trends and innovations to identify external challenges and opportunities for DLG’s brands.
* Conduct regular, in-depth competitor analysis.
* Review and benchmark market, competitor, and brand data, presenting findings to key stakeholders.
* Collaborate with third-party insight agencies and data providers to enhance data quality.
* Develop insightful presentations and internal updates to provide market performance context.
What we’re looking for
* Experience working in an insight or research role.
* Experience combining multiple sources of information to create meaningful insights that drive business decisions.
* The ability to challenge decisions using sound, evidence-based arguments.
* Understanding of insurance commercials and experience in project delivery.
* The ability to create and present compelling, data-led stories that inspire action and change.
* The ability to contribute to the design of new projects and sourcing of new data.
* Experience using data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and familiarity with insight data systems (advantageous).
