The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Carer to join our wonderful team supporting our residents. You will play a vital role in delivering our quality, person-centred care and be responsible for overseeing the care team, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care in our shared home, in line with our values.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and support our care team in providing compassionate, individualised care to our residents in line with our values (training to be provided).
2. Develop and implement personalised care plans, tailored to the unique needs of each resident.
3. Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging residents to engage in social activities and form meaningful connections.
4. Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility and assisting at mealtimes.
5. Administer medications and monitor the health and well-being of our residents, recording events in digital care plans.
6. Communicate effectively with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
7. Uphold our commitment to dignity, respect and privacy for all our residents.
8. Participate in continuous professional development and training.
Requirements for the Role
To succeed in the role, you will be a person who demonstrates:
Qualifications & Knowledge
1. NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, equivalent qualification or willing to work towards this.
2. A current clear DBS and a willingness to undertake a new one for this role.
3. Knowledge of and compliance with regulatory requirements for quality and safety, meet CQC standards and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.

Experience
1. Previous experience in a senior care role.
2. Excellent knowledge and experience of the assessment, admission and discharge process, including care planning using digital platforms.
