Main duties of the job
This role will involve delivering a range of individual assessments, interventions and group interventions for those with complex needs within the multi-disciplinary team. This role will require some travel across the locality, some interventions will be offered in the community, in patients homes and at Tunbridge Wells.

Job responsibilities
CommunityMental health service delivering a range of individual assessments,interventions and group interventions within an multi disciplinary team. OT component within team at present includesa band 5 and an OT apprentice. Thoseaccessing services have a range of mental health needs ranging from complexemotional difficulty through to psychosis, bi polar and complex needs. Services provided are for 18yrs andabove. Role involves working with otherdisciplines and other agencies including VCSE.

Essential
1. Diploma / Degree in Occupational therapy.
Experience
Essential
2. Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with HCPC
3. Experience in community mental health
4. Experience in MOHO and delivering group interventions.
5. Ability to undertake initial assessment, generic and OT specific and conduct risk assessments
6. Ability to travel across the locality in timely way, some interventions and assessments will be offered in the community or in patients own home, others will be delivered at the mental health base in Tunbridge Wells.
