FinOps Analyst - AP, Finance & Accounting
Amazon is looking for a FinOps Analyst to be part of the fast-paced world of Global Accounts Payable.

You will own and manage our payees and coordinate problem-solving activities with them to ensure the best payee experience and smooth flow of all business processes.

The successful candidate will be a member of the Global Finance Operations and will be responsible for payment failure re-drive, invoice ingestion, and invoice modification processes.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Identifying root causes for problems within the supply chain or in internal Amazon systems and leading the initiative of fixing these problems - conduct follow-up tasks, communicate opportunities for improvement, and agree on action plans.
2. Analyze key payee trends, govern mediation requirements based on analyzed trends.
3. Acting as a main point of contact for payee experience with the goal to develop strong business relationships, create mutual trust, and resolve any conflicts to avoid business interruption.
4. Prepare payee health scorecard, conducting reviews and identifying vendor accounts that are likely to become a delivery hold situation and proactively working on their account balances.
5. Addressing any account-related inquiries and concerns from payees and ensuring vendors know to use the Amazon tools.
Other requirements:
1. Analyzing metrics relating to operational performance and effectively presenting data to vendors and internal teams.
2. Working actively and accurately on an independent basis; giving great attention to detail and displaying the initiative to quickly identify and resolve variances, failures, and discrepancies.
3. Interacting with Retail & Finance teams while working on the same payee account and agreeing on priorities, business decisions, objectives, and communication.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate in finance or management.
Ability to communicate and present complex analysis/data clearly and concisely.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Analytical skills with the ability to get into the detail while also seeing and understanding the bigger picture.
Advanced Excel and Advanced SQL skills are advantageous.
Experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable field is an advantage.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
