We are working in partnership with a Local Authority in Rotherham to appoint an experienced Senior HR Consultant to join their dedicated multidisciplinary team for an exciting project!
About the Role:
As a Senior HR Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting a significant project within Provider Services. This project aims to implement a Future Operating Model to drive positive change and efficiency. You will be the designated HR professional guiding and supporting this change program.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-level specialist HR advice and operational support to managers and employees.
2. Ensure adherence to council policies and procedures while undertaking projects to deliver workforce solutions.
3. Supervise HR Consultants in managing the full employee lifecycle and change management processes.
4. Develop strong working relationships with managers, employees, and trade union representatives.
5. Lead the development and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and best practice guidance.
6. Manage and deliver HR-related learning and development events to enhance organisational capability.
Requirements:
7. Proven experience in HR consultancy, preferably within a public sector or similar setting.
