The Role
As part of our next phase of growth, we’re looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join our Product team and take ownership of transforming ideas and requirements into intuitive, accessible, and engaging user experiences.
This is a hands-on design role focused on creating wireframes, user flows, and interface designs in Figma, and you’ll be our internal subject matter expert on accessibility. You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and internal stakeholders to ensure our designs are user-centred, visually consistent, and meet accessibility standards.
If you're passionate about great UX, care deeply about accessibility, and enjoy turning complex requirements into simple and elegant interfaces, we’d love to hear from you.
Key accountabilities
* Design wireframes, flows, and UI mock-ups in Figma, from early concepts through to developer-ready designs.
* Apply and advocate for accessibility best practices, ensuring all designs meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards. You will be an accessibility subject matter expert.
* Maintain and contribute to our design system and component libraries, ensuring consistency and scalability across the platform.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align designs with business and technical requirements.
* Iterate on designs using feedback from users, stakeholders, and team reviews.
You must have:
* Experience designing for web-based products, ideally within a SaaS environment.
* Proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and component-based design.
* Strong understanding of accessibility principles, including a working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA.
* Ability to break down complex requirements into clear, intuitive designs and user journeys.
* A portfolio that shows clear, user-centred thinking across wireframes and UI.
* Great communication skills and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.
* We will hire based on a good motivational fit, also.
The Team
You will work within the Product Department. You will also collaborate with our development, test, customer success and sales departments, in addition to direct engagement with our clients.
Our culture and values
At Bud, we strive to build a culture rooted in our core values.
Accountability is key, with each team member taking ownership of their contributions, fostering trust and dependability across the organisation.
We promote collaborative teamwork through open communication and mutual support, ensuring that ideas are shared freely, and everyone’s voice is heard and valued.
Our commitment to excellence means we consistently push for continuous improvement, setting and achieving high standards, and celebrating our successes along the way.
Passion fuels our efforts, driving us to pursue our goals with dedication, energy, and enthusiasm.
