We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to join our exceptional team. In this role, you will be pivotal in providing high-quality care and support to our residents and lead our nursing and care and support staff team.
Key Responsibilities of the Registered Home Manager:
* You will take the lead in the day to day operations of the home, bringing together your clinical expertise and compassionate leadership to ensure outstanding care.
* You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), NMC, and Ambient Support’s Quality Standards, while creating a safe, supportive and high performing environment where both residents and staff thrive.
* You will meticulously plan and tailor care delivery to meet the unique needs of each resident, ensuring that their health and well-being are prioritised. You’ll engage with residents and their families to develop personalised care plans, fostering an environment of trust and support.
* Your expertise will be crucial in assessing and mitigating risks to maintain the safety and security of all residents, allowing them to thrive in a safe environment.
* You will be responsible for the recruitment, management, and professional development of all staff members, ensuring they are well-trained and motivated to provide exceptional care.
* Provide ongoing support and guidance to the care team regarding nursing and medical matters.
* In addition to leading high-quality care delivery, you will play a vital role in driving occupancy through meaningful engagement and innovative approaches.
* You will establish and maintain strong communication channels with the landlord and the Local County Council, ensuring cooperative relationships that benefit our residents.
* This role requires you to work flexibly to meet the needs of the individuals we support. You will also participate in an on-call system, providing support outside of regular hours.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Registered with the relevant body (e.g., NMC).
* A Registered Managers qualification and an NVQ Level 4, or the ambition to work toward achieving an NVQ Level 5.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Previous experience in a similar supervisory or leadership role.
* Knowledge of safeguarding adults and whistleblowing policies.
* Ability to adapt to changing situations effectively and calmly.
Desirable Skills:
* Supervisory or management qualification.
* Experience in rota planning and staff training.
* A track record of mentoring and coaching staff to enhance team performance.
