We are looking to appoint to two whole-Time Consultant in Vascular & Interventional Radiology to Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust based at Northern General Hospital with sessions at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.
We would welcome applications from candidates across the full spectrum of experience, from those who have recently completed training to those who have well-established careers.
Any candidate who is unable for personal reasons to work full-time will be eligible to be considered for the post if such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with consultant colleagues.

Main duties of the job
The appointee will, together with Consultant colleagues be responsible for the provision of vascular interventional radiological services to enable Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust to fulfil its service agreements with its commissioners. Vascular radiologists are not expected to undertake general radiology reporting and involvement in non-vascular interventional procedures is based on matching clinical applications to the team's specific range of expertise.
The appointee will be expected to take part in the administrative work relevant to their clinical commitment and to contribute to the work of the Directorate. The appointee will also be expected to take an active part in Clinical Audit.

* Registered (or eligible to be registered) with the GMC with a licence to practise
* FRCR Qualification or equivalent
* Name on the specialist register for relevant specialty or eligible within 6 months of the date of the interview. If an applicant is UK trained, they must also be a holder of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), or be within six months of award of CCT by date of interview.
