This role involves mentoring and leadership responsibilities within a well-established team supported by junior lawyers and administrative staff.
The successful Corporate/Commercial Solicitor will be responsible for a varied case load to include:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
2. Management buy-outs and buy-ins
3. Private equity investments
4. Corporate governance
5. Administration sales/purchases
6. Corporate restructuring
7. Shareholders’ agreements
8. Joint ventures
9. IT licensing, support, and maintenance agreements
10. Terms and conditions of business
11. Agency and distribution agreements
12. Bespoke commercial contracts
13. Intellectual Property agreements/contracts/licenses (excluding trademarks or patent applications)
The successful Corporate/Commercial Solicitor will offer the following skillset/background:
Required Qualifications/Skills:
1. Experience: 4+ years PQE in corporate and/or commercial law from a quality law firm
2. Skills: Strong technical skills in line with experience, commercial awareness, excellent communication, and ideally some leadership or mentoring experience
