Job Title: Receptionist / Lounge Assistant Location: London Stansted Airport Salary: £26,355 (40 hours) or £13,168 (20 hours) Job Type: FT (40 hours) or PT (20 hours) basis. About the role: Responsible for maintaining the reception area, passenger lounges, conference room and meeting rooms to a high standard and arranging security clearance for visitors and vehicles. All aspects of liaison and ensuring first class customer care on behalf of Harrods Aviation Duties and Responsibilities: Provide an exceptionally high level of service ensuring that all customer needs are met in a timely and appropriate fashion. Striving to meet all departmental customer services standards. Maintain a professional image at all times. Ensure that all tasks and duties are completed during the scheduled shifts in an efficient manner. Daily liaison with other Departments within the organisation and with external organisations relating to the efficient operation of the Company. Take ownership of problems and deal with them in a professional manner. Refer when necessary to the LCSA. Process customer requests with direction from the Customer Service Manager / Operations Manager / Duty Operations Controller / LCSA. Order customer facilities pertaining to lounge consumables stock control using approved suppliers. Cross selling of additional service supplied by Harrods Aviation. Use and operate communications equipment. Remain current with the latest information via use of the internal Company Systems, i.e. Q-Pulse and Email Adhere to departmental procedures and systems to maintain optimum efficiency and consistency. Dealing with company mail/couriers, internal/external. Ensure lounges, conference rooms and washrooms are kept clean, tidy and fully stocked at all times. Maintain stock control of supplies for passenger and crew lounges. At the start of the shift you are responsible for reading the handover from previous Receptionist. Familiarise yourself with the daily running programme and ops handover. Ensure you are aware of passengers that are due to arrive for a departure and be ready to receive them. Always welcome guests when arrive at the facility, and offer assistance if they go in the lounge. Perform other duties as requested. Working Hours: The FBO operates 365 days a year. Receptionists are required to work a shift pattern. The standard shift for a full-time employee is 11 hours, with a 30-minute unpaid break (total 12 hours) and the average working week is 40 hours. This role can also be undertaken on a part-time basis, average working week of 20 hours (5.75 hours per shift). Overtime as and when required is agreed with management in advance, for which you will receive overtime or lieu time.
