The Role: As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial team, developing your skills in cost management, contract administration, and financial reporting. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals, gaining valuable industry knowledge and exposure to real-world projects. Key Responsibilities: Commercial Support: Assist in managing commercial functions across multiple projects, ensuring accurate cost control, forecasting, and reporting. Contract Administration: Support the preparation, review, and management of contracts, ensuring compliance with company procedures. Subcontractor Management: Help oversee subcontractor agreements, verifying claims, and ensuring accurate payments. Cost Monitoring: Work alongside senior managers to track project spend against budgets, identifying variances and supporting cost-saving initiatives. Profit and Loss Reporting: Contribute to weekly P&L reports, helping monitor financial performance. Change Management: Support the implementation of change management processes, ensuring all project variations are accurately documented and valued. What You Need: Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A full, clean driver’s license with the flexibility to travel across Northern Ireland as required. Desirable Skills (Not Essential): Familiarity with industry software such as Cubit, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Workforce, or AutoCAD. Knowledge of FIDIC and NEC forms of contract. Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
