Head of Sales – Public Sector | Hybrid | London
A high-impact technology business is looking for an experienced and commercially astute Head of Sales to lead growth across key public sector verticals. The Role:
* Lead sales strategy and execution across a portfolio of public sector accounts.
* Act as a player-coach - managing, mentoring, and developing a high-performing sales team while also owning key accounts and personally driving new business opportunities.
* Drive growth across sectors including healthcare, local councils, fire, ambulance, and justice services.
* Develop and implement scalable go-to-market plans that deliver revenue and market share growth.
* Oversee end-to-end bid management and tender submissions.
* Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and sector forums.
About You:
* 3+ years’ experience in a senior sales leadership role, ideally within the public sector.
* Proven track record of delivering against revenue targets.
* Confident leading from the front - equally comfortable managing a team and rolling up your sleeves to win and grow accounts.
* Skilled at building high-trust relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders.
* Experienced in leading complex sales cycles and navigating public procurement processes..
* Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term vision and day-to-day execution.
The Package:
* Basic salary up to £110,000 plus bonus of £30,000.
* Hybrid- 2/3 days a week in the office.
