From delivering large programmes of work for social housing providers, to ensuring the highest building safety standards, we provide a range of services for public sector clients.
Job Description
Our Property Services pillar operate in the refurbishment and regeneration of thousands of properties in the South of England; we are currently looking for a SHEQ Advisor to provide invaluable SHEQ support to our Responsive division. Your role as SHEQ Advisor will involve:
* Providing specialist SHEQ advice to colleagues / subcontractors
* Ensuring contracts are compliant and that positive behaviours are embedded in the day to day works of our operational teams
* Communicate & promote a positive SHEQ ethos and culture
* Guide and advice projects on the implementation of business management system, policies, and procedures.
* Conduct investigations for allocated projects, conducting robust root cause analysis, reporting back on findings.
* Lead and support the continuous improvement of SHEQ performance.
* Proactively monitor SHEQ reporting system for allocated projects regarding performance such as quality inspections
* Support and advice to subcontractors and suppliers as required..
* Participate in regular meetings, actively being involved with input, best bestice, innovation.
Qualifications
This is primarily a site-based role which will require a SHEQ professional with previously construction / property services sector experience, in addition to a full UK driving license and vehicle for work purposes. You will also possess the following:
* Understanding of health and safety issues as they relate to the property maintenance space, and ability to implement processes in line with industry standards
* Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and subcontractors; we are looking for a team player who can add value to our operational teams
* CMIOSH or equivalent (or be working towards this)
