Job Title: ISO Consultant
Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear
Salary/Benefits: £38k - £55k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a well-known organisation within the Health and Safety sector, who are seeking a knowledgeable ISO Consultant within the North East of England. Candidates must have strong previous experience within this role and will be well-versed in ISO compliance guidelines. The company have a fast-growing portfolio of clients and a strong reputation, and so the incoming candidate must be able to maintain their strong relationships with clients and professional ethos. Applicants will ideally possess a keen eye for detail and must be able to problem-solve within agreed time-frames. Experience / Qualifications:
- You must have proven experience with ISO management and auditing
- Will be Lead or Internal Auditor certificate for ISO 27001 and ISO 9001
- Excellent industry technical and legal knowledge
- It would be preferred that candidates are educated to degree-level within an industry-relevant subject such as: Environmental, Quality Assurance, Business and Health & Safety)
- Will be qualified with relevant industry tickets, such as: NEBOSH, CMIOSH
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Good literacy and IT skills
- Able to travel as per company requirements
The Role:
- You will be supporting clients in assuring they comply with ISO standards, including: ISO 9001, ISO 27001
- Conducting audits and risk assessments across a portfolio of clients to identify any non-conformities and implementing plans to rectify
- Devising management plans, discussing with clients and ensuring they are actioned
- Meeting with clients to discuss issues prior to external audits, ensuring to prepare them for the appointment
- Delivering thorough training for clients on ISO standards and processes
- Oversee projects from start to finish and keeping clients updated along the way
- Answering client's technical issues and providing ongoing support
- Maintaining personal knowledge of any industry changes
- Travelling to meet with clients when required
