Category Lead - Impulse & Convenience - FMCG Food
A leading FMCG Food business with some of the UK's best-known snacking brands is currently searching for a Category Lead for their impulse channels. A key role in the business, you'll be responsible for creating the direction for all impulse channel customers, setting the strategy, and driving short/long-term growth.
You'll be managing a team of 2 Category Managers, and customers will include all Food Service, Convenience, RTM, and Symbols.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead the Impulse commercial agenda internally and influence commercial planning and thinking for this important channel.
* Develop and deliver the Category Vision for the impulse channel, implementing category recommendations and solutions to benefit the business and customers.
* Lead and develop the impulse category team, managing and coaching 2 Category Managers and supporting their customer engagement.
* Work closely with senior commercial stakeholders and the Head of Category Management to champion Category-based selling and unlock opportunities with impulse retailers.
Location: Berkshire, Hybrid working with excellent National Rail transport links from London OR Parking on site
