Hours: 19.5 hours until 31st August 2025, hours will be reviewed annually
Teaching hours: 468 per annum actual, 850 full time equivalent

About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our travel teaching team. The Travel & Tourism learning area offers vocational programmes at Level 2 and Level 3 at our Highbury Campus.
A successful candidate will work collaboratively within the travel team to teach and assess a range of Travel and Tourism topics and programmes. They will provide high-quality learning opportunities that meet the needs of our diverse student cohorts and actively contribute to the development and delivery of a responsive and high-quality Travel and Tourism curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
* To teach on a range of programmes, providing high-quality learning opportunities that meet the needs of individual students/apprentices.
* To provide flexible assessment opportunities and closely plan, monitor, track and record student/apprentice retention, achievement, and success.
* To contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality, relevant curriculum and programmes.
To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:
* Industry experience within the travel and tourism sector, with up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and practices.
* Post-graduate Teaching Qualification (or willing to undertake studies towards a Level 5 diploma in Teaching).
* Demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for the subject and a genuine interest in helping young people achieve their potential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
