Due to the retirement of the existing post holder, we are seeking to appoint, to start in September 2025 (or at the end of the summer term), a Pastoral Lead Officer who will work alongside the existing Pastoral Manager.
The role takes responsibility for co-ordinating the pastoral care of all pupils who are vulnerable and also those disengaged with learning, specifically those children with social, emotional and behavioural issues, ensuring the continuity of learning and social development.
Your role will include leading on behaviour, child protection, attendance, medical and dietary needs, nurture and family liaison.
This is a non-teaching role, although you will be expected to support groups of children in the classroom and in small groups or 1-1 settings.
This role will also involve being a contact on behalf of the school with Children and Family Services and all other such organisations and to handle all matters that involve these parties.
We want fresh ideas, enthusiasm and a commitment to helping our children reach the highest standards of attainment and achievement, underpinned by our strong Christian ethos.
Visits to the school are expected –
